Create a QR code without sign-up or a tracking redirect

Make a static QR code for a link, text, Wi-Fi or a contact. Choose colors, download PNG or SVG, and test your code before sharing or printing.

Open QR Code Generator →

Choose what your code contains

Open QR Code Generator and choose Link, Text, Wi-Fi or Contact. Link requires a full address starting with https:// or http://, for example https://1click.tools/. The preview updates as you type. The address is encoded directly: scanning does not go through a redirect service operated by us. The tool does not visit or verify your destination, so check it yourself.

Create a Wi-Fi or contact code

Wi-Fi needs the exact network name and password. Choose WPA / WPA2-Personal, WEP or Open network and mark Hidden network only if needed. Enterprise Wi-Fi is not supported. Contact creates a vCard: enter at least a first or last name and optionally add an organization, phone, email or website. Different scanners can handle Wi-Fi and vCard content differently.

Style the code without hiding its structure

Start with dark foreground pixels on a light background. Square is the default pattern; Rounded and Dots change data pixels while leaving the functional patterns square. Advanced options lets you choose error correction and a clear margin of 4, 6, 8 or 12 modules. A module is one small square in the code. Do not crop this quiet zone from your exported image. More content and stronger error correction can make the code denser.

Use logos carefully

Add a PNG, JPG or WebP logo under 2 MB and 16 million pixels. The image is decoded and rasterized on your device before it is embedded. Adding a logo enables High error correction and covers a small central portion of the code; that does not guarantee that every camera will read it. Remove the logo or choose Square if scanning is unreliable.

Download PNG or SVG

Use the pencil to change the filename. PNG creates a raster image between 256 and 4096 pixels per side. SVG is vector artwork, so the PNG size field is disabled. A logo inside an SVG remains a raster image. Both formats use the same artwork as the preview. For a simple website code, try the default 1024 px PNG with Square pixels and a four-module margin.

Test the finished result

Scan the downloaded file on a second device and confirm the exact destination or content. For print, test at the final physical size, on the actual material and in typical lighting. Do not assume that a code readable on a large monitor will work on a tiny label. Warnings about contrast and styling are guidance, not proof that a code can or cannot be scanned.

Understand privacy and lifetime

QR content and logos are processed locally and are not saved between sessions or sent in analytics events. Website hosting, analytics and advertising are separate and follow the site privacy choices. QR codes are not encryption: anyone who has a Wi-Fi code can recover its password. A static code has no expiry imposed by this tool, but its website destination must remain available. Changing an encoded URL, password or contact requires making a new code.

Example: a direct link QR code

SettingValueResult
Contenthttps://1click.tools/Scanning opens this exact URL without a tracking redirect
AppearanceDark pixels, white background, square patternA conventional high-contrast code
DownloadPNG, 1024 pxA 1024 × 1024 pixel image including the quiet zone

This example describes the settings and encoded destination, not a guarantee of scanning on every device. Test the downloaded code at its intended display or print size.
