Merge PDF files without uploading them

Combine PDFs in your browser, arrange pages and save one document. No account or file upload. Learn what is preserved and what to check before sharing.

Combine documents on your device

Choose PDFs to add the first files, then use Add PDFs for more. The page list brings the documents into one workspace. Processing happens locally in your browser; your documents are not uploaded for conversion. The website still makes network requests for its own resources and may use analytics and advertising according to your privacy choices.

Put the pages in reading order

Click a page to select it; Command/Ctrl-click adds or removes pages and Shift-click selects a range. With a mouse or pen, drag from empty space to draw a selection box. Drag any selected page to move the group in workspace order. The opening gap and insertion line show where the pages will be inserted. Use the toolbar to switch between grid and list views. Page labels show positions in your download, not printed PDF page numbers.

Find and edit a page

Click a document in the sidebar to select and scroll to its first page. Click the same document again to advance to its next page, wrapping after the last. Matching color dots pulse while it is active; a brief sheen identifies the page reached. Double-click a page or use its zoom icon to preview, crop or rotate it. Choose Save to keep preview edits, or X or Escape to discard the session.

Download one merged PDF

Open Download options using the toolbar button if the export panel is hidden. Set Pages to All pages, Format to PDF, and PDF output to One PDF. Selecting a page, including through the document sidebar, switches the export scope to Selected pages, so explicitly choose All pages to merge everything. Use the pencil to name the result, leave ZIP download off for a direct PDF, and click Download. ZIP can also wrap a single merged PDF.

Check document features before merging

Use standard, unlocked PDFs. Password-protected documents and interactive forms are not supported. Rebuilding pages does not preserve digital signatures, bookmarks, embedded files or all accessibility structure. This is a page organizer, not a way to preserve signed legal documents or edit the wording of a contract. Keep the original files and inspect the exported document.

Large files and session limits

The practical limit depends on your device and browser memory. If a large batch fails, try fewer documents at a time. Undo and Redo work while the workspace remains open, but refreshing or closing the tab clears the session. Download your result before leaving; your original PDFs are never overwritten.

Example: a cover, report and appendix

Page counts are a worked example. Check the first page, the joins between documents and the final page in your downloaded PDF.
