Create a QR code, without an account

Choose Link, Text, Wi-Fi or Contact, enter your details and check the live preview. Customize the colors and pattern, then download PNG or SVG. The code contains your data directly, without a redirect through 1click.tools.

Using the workspace

Start with the content

Use a full https:// link. Text preserves line breaks. Wi-Fi uses the exact network name and password; WPA/WPA2-Personal, WEP and open networks are supported. Contact creates a vCard with a name and optional phone, email, organization and website.

Keep it easy to scan

Use dark pixels on a light background and leave the clear margin intact. Square pixels are the safest default. A logo forces High error correction but still needs testing. Warnings are guidance, not scan guarantees.

Download and test

PNG works in everyday documents. SVG stays sharp at different print sizes. Scan the actual downloaded or printed code with more than one device. SVG ignores the PNG size field.

Know what is shared

QR codes are not encrypted. Anyone who sees a Wi-Fi code can recover its password. Contact details and text are also readable. Values stay in this tab, but anything you download or share can be copied. Refreshing clears this session.

Is the QR code generator free?

Yes. Create and download PNG or SVG codes without an account. Advertising supports the site and uses the same privacy choices as our other tools.

Do these QR codes expire?

The tool does not add an expiry date or a redirect service. The content is embedded directly in a static QR code. A linked website must remain available; changing its address requires a new code.

Can I edit a code after printing it?

No. A downloaded static QR code cannot be changed. You can update the content at a website address you control, but changing the encoded address, Wi-Fi password or contact details requires generating and sharing a new code.

What stays on my device?

QR content, Wi-Fi passwords, contact details, logos and downloads are processed in your browser memory. This tool does not upload them or send them in analytics events. They are not saved between sessions. The website still makes network requests for hosting, analytics and advertising according to your privacy choices.

Are Wi-Fi and contact codes secure?

QR codes are readable, not encrypted. Anyone who has the code can extract its contents, including a Wi-Fi password. Only share credentials and contact details with people who should have them. Enterprise Wi-Fi authentication is not supported; scanner and device compatibility varies.

Can I add colors or a logo?

Choose foreground and background colors, Square, Rounded or Dots pixels, and optionally a PNG, JPG or WebP logo under 2 MB and 16 million pixels. Logo files are rasterized locally before embedding. Adding a logo forces High error correction. Styling, low contrast, size and printing can still affect scanning; always test the final result.

Should I download PNG or SVG?

PNG is a raster image from 256 to 4096 pixels per side. SVG is a scalable vector file with an embedded raster image if you add a logo. Both use the same artwork as the preview. Leave at least the supplied four-module clear margin around the code.

Why is Download disabled?

Enter valid content first. Long content may exceed QR capacity, especially with High error correction. For PNG, enter a whole-number size between 256 and 4096. The workspace footer explains input and export errors.
